The Monash Golden Key Race Against Depression is a charity fundraising event based on the hit TV show The Amazing Race. Teams of three participants each compete with other teams to solve clues guiding them to various locations around the Melbourne CBD. The race will run from 11:00am-3:00pm on Sunday the 9th of September.
Through this event, Monash Golden Key is proudly supporting Lifeline Australia. In order to participate, each team will be required to donate $30.00 ($10 per participant) directly to Lifeline Australia via the Everyday Hero website. Free lunch will be provided to all participants on event day. Further, there will be a raffle on event day of a grand prize available to all participants with raffle tickets for $3.00 each. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to Lifeline Australia.
In the weeks leading up to the event, participants will also be asked to seek sponsors for their team through family and friends, whom will donate directly to Lifeline Australia via the Everyday Hero page; a prize will be awarded to the team that raises the most funds. A prize will also be awarded to the first team who successfully completes the circuit and crosses the finish line.
We’ll provide you and your team a personal Everyday Hero page where you can begin raising money for Lifeline Australia prior to the event.
